Must have:
  • Serve as subject matter expert for the AMER region, assisting clients with U.S. entity formations and corporate registrations.
  • Assist with entity formations and foreign entity registrations across the globe where required.
  • Consult clients on US corporate structures (e.g. LLCs, C-Corps, S-Corps) ensuring compliance with laws.
  • Experience in corporate secretarial and governance matters including reporting requirements and amending documents.
  • Lead client projects for corporate entity set-ups, foreign qualifications, EIN applications, and state-specific registrations.
  • Anticipate and actively listen to clients’ needs and concerns; find beneficial solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Deel’s products, services, policies, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal operations and related teams to ensure client needs and business objectives are met.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate compliance standards and policies.
  • Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations relevant to client’s operations.
  • Support the Global Corp team in researching and understanding compliance requirements globally.
  • Support compliance efforts by conducting regular audits and assessments.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with external counsel and other service providers.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent client service skills and ability to work on matters simultaneously under minimal supervision.
  • Patience and ability to mentor more junior members of the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, support, service, business development, regulatory, IT, and finance.
  • Help the Global Corp Manager to define and drive strategic and operational initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as subject matter expert for the AMER region, particularly focused on assisting clients with U.S. entity formations, foreign qualifications (e.g., registering as a foreign entity in states where clients conduct business), and other corporate registrations.
  • Ability to assist the team with entity formations and foreign entity registrations across the globe where required.
  • Proven track record consulting clients on US corporate structures (e.g. LLCs, C-Corps, S-Corps) and across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with local, state and federal laws..
  • Experience in corporate secretarial and governance matters including reporting requirements, amending documents, knowledge of different types of formations and company structures across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Ability and gravitas to lead client projects in relation to corporate entity set-ups, foreign qualifications, EIN applications, registered agent coordination, and other state-specific registrations and related maintenance requirements across different jurisdictions.
  • Ability to anticipate and actively listen to the clients’ upcoming needs and concerns; find solutions to problems that are beneficial to all parties.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Deel’s products, services, policies and best practices; provide appropriate feedback to leadership on product enhancements, service level delivery and policy changes when appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with internal operations teams and other related teams to ensure clients’ needs and business objectives are met providing best-in-class service.
  • Collaborate with Global Corporate Services to ensure adherence to corporate compliance standards and policies.
  • Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations relevant to client’s operations with the confidence to provide training and knowledge sharing within Deel.
  • Support the Global Corp team in researching and understanding compliance requirements globally.
  • Support compliance efforts by conducting regular audits and assessments.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased operational efficiency within the Global Corp department.
  • Collaborate with external counsel and other service providers.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent client service skills and ability to work on matters simultaneously in an organized manner and under minimal supervision.
  • Patience and ability to mentor more junior members of the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, support, service, business development, regulatory, IT, and finance, as well as various business units.
  • Help the Global Corp Manager to define and drive strategic and operational initiatives with on-time and on-budget results.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years experience in corporate governance, company structuring, corporate secretarial, insolvency, entity creation/maintenance or a related role - including significant hands-on experience with US entity management and compliance.
  • In-depth familiarity with US incorporation processes and regulations, including interacting with Secretary of State offices, handling foreign qualifications, managing registered agent relationships, and filing federal and state documentation.
  • Familiarity with US federal filings (e.g. EIN, BOI) and understanding of basic tax implications for various entity types
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Tax, Finance, Accountancy or Legal Studies, or related subject.
  • Strong proficiency in using Jira, Salesforce, Looker, and other relevant tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the Google equivalents).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English.
