As a Consultative Value Selling Specialist, you'll accelerate your career by leveraging cutting-edge cloud and AI solutions. Responsibilities include accelerating customer consumption, aligning cross-solution area expertise with account planning, collaborating with the account team, continuously building sales expertise, and adhering to Microsoft processes. You'll champion customer outcomes, strengthen relationships, drive consumption through projects and programs, and maintain pipeline hygiene. This role requires strong cross-solution expertise and a commitment to customer success.
Must have:
  • 7+ years tech sales or account management OR Bachelor's degree + 6+ years experience
  • Customer and partner obsession, driving consumption
  • Collaboration with account teams, project & program execution
  • Sales expertise, Industry & solution knowledge
  • Adherence to Microsoft processes and methodologies
Good to have:
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or related field

As an experienced Consultative Value Selling Specialist for Microsoft's Cloud and AI solution portfolio, this role will give you the opportunity to accelerate your career growth, growing your solution area expertise, developing leads, qualification of strategic opportunities and ownership through to successful deal closure, leveraging cutting edge solutions for customers that grow cloud consumption.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7+ years technology-related sales or account management experience
    • OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 6+ years technology-related sales or account management experience
    • OR equivalent experience

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (i.e., MBA), Information Technology, or related field
  • 6+ years consulting, solution or services sales experience.

 

Responsibilities

  • You will role model and demonstrate customer and partner obsession through customer business outcomes leveraging cross solution area expertise.
  • You will provide an impactful point of view where Industry Solutions Delivery can accelerate consumption, aligned to cross solution area expertise into account planning cycles.
  • You will work seamlessly with the wider account team, building and strengthening relationships across the Microsoft teams to drive consumption through Industry Solutions projects and programs.
  • You will continuously build sales expertise, learning and evolving Industry and solution knowledge to support customers and the wider one Microsoft team and investing in personal development.
  • You will champion and adhere to Microsoft processes and methodologies, on strategy selling, pipeline hygiene, logging and maintaining all opportunities for Industry Solutions Delivery, continuous qualification, and close plan ownership.
