Java Developer (with ACD experience)

We are seeking a Java Developer with ACD experience.
Our client is a leading cloud contact center platform offering advanced tools for call routing, analytics, and automation. As a Software Engineer specializing in Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) within the call center software domain, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ACD features to optimize call routing, enhance agent productivity, and ensure a seamless customer experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to implement scalable and efficient ACD algorithms and workflows.
• Work closely with integration teams to ensure seamless integration of ACD components with other modules and external systems.
• Implement and enhance call routing strategies to optimize efficiency and ensure timely and accurate call distribution.
• Continuously assess and improve algorithms to meet performance and service level objectives.
• Develop and execute test plans for the features, ensuring high-quality, reliable software.
• Collaborate with QA teams to identify and address software defects and performance issues.
• Create comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, API documentation, and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand and refine requirements.
• Provide support to resolve issues related to functionality, working closely with customer support and operations teams.
• Participate in debugging efforts and address technical challenges in a timely manner.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Java programming using Spring Boot framework.
• Proven experience in software development with a focus on contact center solutions and Automatic Call Distribution systems.
• In-depth understanding of ACD algorithms, call routing strategies, and industry best practices.
• Strong in developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Strong analytical mindset with exceptional problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player.
• Highly adaptable and eager to learn new technologies and methodologies.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform
• Knowledge of telephony protocols, VoIP, and real-time communication technologies. 
• Background in creating routing systems for automating call distribution to agents.
