Job Description

Join Playtika, a leading mobile games company, as a Java Developer in Kyiv. You'll contribute to the Shareable Slots R&D team, responsible for developing new cross-studio technologies and delivering slots to various studios. Responsibilities include developing services, participating in project planning, suggesting solutions, and ensuring timely delivery. You'll also perform investigations, provide estimations, create documentation, and participate in code reviews. This role requires deep knowledge of Java Core, Spring Framework, concurrency, and microservice architecture. Experience with testing frameworks, NoSQL databases, messaging frameworks, clean code principles, and monitoring tools is also essential. You'll have the opportunity to learn, grow, and impact product development.

Must have:

Deep knowledge of Java Core and Spring Framework
Experience with Microservice architecture
Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit 5, Spock)
Experience with NoSQL DB (key-value based, document-based)
Experience with messaging frameworks (like Kafka)
Experience in testing frameworks
Understanding of Clean code principles
Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus)

Good to have:

Experience with reactive frameworks (Project Reactor)
English Intermediate

Shareable Slots R&D is Central Slots Business Domain that focused on new cross studio technology development and slot delivery to all studios.The solution includes full delivery pipeline for each shared feature ( Back office, client and server parts ) and consists of dedicated microservices on backend and common libraries on frontend.

Responsibilities:

Develop services
Actively participate in project planning, suggest options for realization and highlight potential risks.
Responsible for own and team commitments.
Perform all tasks in reasonable forecasted time frames.
Perform investigations in scope of a particular tasks
Provide precise estimation for complex tasks/features with considering different options and taking to account technical and organisational risks
Divide tasks to smaller ones and give correct estimations
Cover code with tests
Create HLD and SDD for services
Being able to handle all responsibilities (Gatekeeping a services)
Suggest improvements (design, quality, processes, solutions)
Understand design and applications of what is being developed.
Take responsibility for all development work and project’s code
Learn from colleagues and external sources
Improve his own technological stack
Impact product development by following quality of services and operational agreements (e.g. SLA, quality, etc.)
Seeks improvements, automatization and optimization of the work process.
Participate in PI investigation

Requirements:

Deep knowledge of Java Core, Spring Framework Stack
Deep knowledge of concurrency, resiliency, caching
Experience with Microservice architecture
Experience in testing frameworks (JUnit 5, Spock)
Experience with NoSQL DB (key-value based, document-based)
Experience with messaging frameworks (like Kafka)
Experience in testing frameworks
Understanding of Clean code principles
Experience with monitoring tools Grafana, Prometheus
Nice to have experience with reactive frameworks (Project Reactor)
English Intermediate.
