BIT Consulting seeks a Lead ABAP Engineer with 5-8 years' experience in SAP ABAP development, specializing in ABAP on Cloud, RAP, and Clean Core Conversion projects. The role involves analyzing, designing, and implementing the transformation of classical ABAP code to Clean Core ABAP, developing applications using ABAP on Cloud and RAP frameworks, collaborating with stakeholders to optimize SAP S/4HANA OTC cycle, ensuring seamless integration with technical solutions, adhering to SAP best practices, developing CDS Views, OData services, and AMDPs, performing code reviews and testing, and providing expertise in S/4HANA workflows. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of the SAP S/4HANA Order-to-Cash (OTC) cycle and proficiency in CDS Views, OData services, and AMDP development.

Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ABAP Developer with expertise in ABAP on Cloud, RESTful Application Programming (RAP), and Clean Core Conversion projects. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of the SAP S/4HANA Order-to-Cash (OTC) cycle, enabling them to deliver end-to-end solutions that align with business processes and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, and implement the transformation of Classical ABAP code to Clean Core ABAP.
- Develop and enhance applications using ABAP on Cloud and RAP frameworks.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and optimize the SAP S/4HANA OTC cycle, ensuring seamless integration with technical solutions.
- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices for Clean Core development.
- Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize CDS Views, OData services, and AMDPs to support OTC processes.
- Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide expertise in SAP S/4HANA workflows, business processes, and enhancements.
- Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies and provide recommendations for process improvements.
- Support system integration, migration, and troubleshooting activities as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.
- Expertise in ABAP on Cloud and RESTful Application Programming (RAP) frameworks.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Classical ABAP to Clean Core Conversion.
- Solid understanding of the SAP S/4HANA OTC cycle, including:
- Sales Order Processing
- Pricing and Billing
- Delivery and Logistics Execution
- Integration with Finance and other modules.
- Proficiency in CDS Views, OData services, and AMDP development.
- Experience in troubleshooting and performance optimization of ABAP programs.
- Good working experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP ABAP certification in Cloud or S/4HANA.
- Experience in Agile or Scrum development methodologies.
