Zenimax Online Studios is seeking an experienced Machine Learning engineer passionate about bringing cutting edge research into a wide variety of game development areas. This position will work closely with various other engineering, art, and technical art groups to support production needs.
The preferred location for this role is Hunt Valley, MD, Austin, TX, San Diego, CA, or Madison, WI. Will consider remote.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with technical leadership, designers, artists, animators and engineers to determine where and how to best apply machine learning concepts to different pipelines and workflows within game developement
Act as a resource for machine learning initiatives within the engineering team
Create proof-of-concept prototypes
Scale prototypes into production quality tools/solutions
Qualifications
5+ years of software development experience with machine learning
Proficient in C++
Strong communication skills
Ability to write clear, maintainable, portable code
Knowledge of technical areas of game development
Preferred Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Knowledge of standard machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, NumPy, and Pandas
Strong sense of ownership and initiative
Salary Range
Engineer/Prgrammer - The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $75,000 - $160,000 per year.

Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time.
