Vous serez principalement responsable du nettoyage des données de mocap dans Vicon Shogun pour tous les projets Mocap de 2K. De plus, selon votre expérience, vous contribuerez et, potentiellement, dirigerez de petits groupes de projets pour d'autres aspects de notre flux de production.

Vous travaillerez également en étroite collaboration avec nos responsables de post-production, en vous assurant qu'ils disposent des données de mocap nécessaires pour la livraison aux clients. Cela peut également inclure une collaboration avec des membres d'autres équipes chez Mocap (scène, production, technique, etc.) pour vous donner une vue d'ensemble de notre flux de production.

Les responsabilités du poste incluent :

  • Contribuer aux tâches de nettoyage de la capture de mouvement
  • Travailler avec l'équipe de postproduction sur d'autres tâches du flux de production telles que le traitement des données de mocap, la résolution, le contrôle qualité, le montage des vidéos de capture faciale, l'animation de la caméra virtuelle, etc.
  • Communication quotidienne avec le responsable de production et l'équipe de production
  • Soumettre des retours sur les outils et les problèmes du flux de production ainsi que des propositions pour de nouvelles idées d'outils
  • D'autres responsabilités peuvent être attribuées au besoin

Le profil idéal pour un fit phénoménal:

  • Vous avez une passion profonde pour la performance et la rétention de la fidélité du mouvement.
  • Vous avez de l'expérience avec l'utilisation de Vicon Shogun ou d'autres logiciels de nettoyage de capture de mouvement. Vous êtes à l'aise avec Autodesk Maya et MotionBuilder ainsi qu'avec des lecteurs vidéo comme VLC et MPC.
  • Vous restez concentré et efficace face à des montagnes de données et des délais serrés. Votre personnalité méticuleuse, votre ingéniosité et votre attitude positive surmontent facilement toute monotonie présentée par des tâches répétitives.
  • Vous suivez bien les directives, êtes réceptif aux critiques et pouvez vous-même fournir des retours perspicaces. L'appréciation pour les discussions professionnelles et constructives est primordiale.
  • Toute compétence additionnelle, telle que l’animation faciale, nettoyage de capture de mouvement, édition et programmation sera considérée comme un atout.

Exigences :

  • 2 années d'expérience dans l'industrie
  • Formation dans le domaine de l'animation 3D, de la capture de mouvement ou du cinéma
  • Expérience avec Vicon Shogun ou d'autres logiciels de capture de mouvement
  • Compétence avec Autodesk Maya et MotionBuilder
  • Attitude positive

What we need: Do you have a keen eye for detail? Do you have a passion for storytelling and animation? We are looking for a sharp, patient, and detailed Animator with a passion for motion capture!

You will be primarily responsible for mocap data clean up in Vicon Shogun across all 2K Mocap projects. Additionally, according to your experience, you will contribute to and potentially lead small project groups for other aspects of our asset pipeline.

You will also work closely with our Postproduction managers, ensuring they have the mocap data they need for delivery to clients. This might also include collaboration with members of other teams here at Mocap (Stage, Production, Tech, etc.) to give you a well-rounded view of our pipeline.

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Contributing to motion capture cleanup tasks
  • Working with the post production team on other pipeline tasks such as processing Mocap Data, Solving, QA, Editing Facial Capture Video, Virtual Camera Animation, etc.
  • Daily communication with the Production Manager and Production team
  • Submitting feedback on tools and pipeline bugs as well as proposals for new tool ideas
  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Who we believe will be a phenomenal fit:

  • You have a deep passion for performance and retaining motion fidelity.
  • You are experienced with using Vicon Shogun, or other Motion Capture cleaning software. You are comfortable with Autodesk Maya and MotionBuilder as well as video players like VLC and MPC.
  • You stay focused and efficient in the face of mountains of data and tight turnaround times. Your detail-oriented personality, resourcefulness, and positive demeanor easily overcomes any tedium presented by repetitive tasks.
  • You take direction well, are receptive to critique, and can yourself provide insightful feedback. Appreciation for professional and constructive debate is vital.
  • Any additional skills, such as facial animation, motion capture cleaning and editing, and programming, we consider a definite plus.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years industry experience
  • Education in the field of 3D Animation, Motion Capture, or Film
  • Experienced with Vicon Shogun or other Motion Capture Software
  • Proficient with Autodesk Maya and Motionbuilder
  • Positive attitude
