The Position:

Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and develop engaging animation ideas and scripts
• Design and create 2D/3D animations, motion graphics, and visual effects
• Work with the team to develop storyboards and visual styles
• Create animations for various media, including social media, websites, and advertising
• Edit and finalize videos, ensuring high-quality output
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and software (e.g., Adobe Animate, Blender, After Effects)
• Understanding and embodying Levitate’s brand values in all productions
  
  

Requirements:

• Portfolio/Reel showcasing exceptional animation skills and creativity
• Proficiency in animation software and technologies
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  
  

Nice to Have:

• Out-of-the-box thinker with a strong creative eye
• Experience with scriptwriting and storytelling
• Knowledge of video production and editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
• Familiarity with project management tools and software
• Certification in animation or related software
  
  

Core Competencies:

• Fluent in written and spoken English with professional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
• Experience working in media or agency environments
• Understanding and a working knowledge of Adobe products
• Familiarity with production platforms such as Basecamp, Vimeo, Worksuite, and Frame.io
• Flexibility to meet continuously changing priorities and challenges
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, team environment as well as on their own
