Motion Design Producer
Location: Los Angeles – Hybrid
Our Media & Entertainment client's video streaming service is seeking Motion Design Producer for its in-house creative marketing team. A visual problem solver and storyteller, the Motion Designer will take ideas from concept to execution stage, in both video and digital advertising. Working within a larger team of creative professionals, supporting company goals and media initiatives, the Motion Designer will create key art, static and video design content for a wide variety of assignments across all video, mobile platforms, social media, and all emerging media platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Creative Directors, the Editorial Director, and Project Managers to develop marketing solutions that reflect the brand's visual sensibility.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of brand guidelines and rules across the entire Marketing organization to ensure all consumer-facing work maintains a consistent design voice and tone across every platform and touchpoint.
- Ensure a high volume of design elements are completed and delivered accurately and on time, while working with highly analytical data-driven assignments.
- Exhibit the ability to pivot and work with agility in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial marketing culture.
- Demonstrate proficient compositing FX skills, including green screen, keying, tracking, and rotoscoping.
- Possess knowledge of video-editing and video production equipment, including cinema cameras and still photography.
- Exhibit a creative drive to explore new approaches to video storytelling.
- Adeptly use web pages and applications, such as HTML and CSS.
- Demonstrate strong experience in design, with a good sense of design for key art and static elements.
- Produce content independently, from concept to completion.
- Lead feedback sessions, interpret and manage back-and-forth communication with revisions and notes, and effectively communicate with the NYC teams.
- Take ownership and make campaigns their own.
- Manage communications with the Director, studio partners, and the creative team.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Possess high level of proficiency in After Effects, video motion graphics, and compositing, as well as 3D skills in Cinema 4D.
- Excels in motion graphics design.
- Excellent presentation skills, typographic skills, editorial sensibilities.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in Motion Design.
- Professional work experience in digital media and/or direct-to-consumer entertainment. Film Entertainment experience preferred.
- A Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred, with an educational discipline in graphic design or art school desired.
