POSITION PURPOSE

Directly reporting to the Creative Manager and indirectly reporting to the Regional Marketing Manager, the Motion Graphic Designer shall join a group of creative team members to help transform the global social media content of GlobalSign. This position shall also support and collaborate with GlobalSign’s global marketing department, thus achieving a global impact on how GlobalSign communicates through motion graphics/animation/multimedia projects.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Develops and produces motion graphics and animations for video deliverables.

2. Makes creative use of typography and images for videos.

3. Assists and works with creative team members in the conceptualization, design and development of GlobalSign’s overall brand.

4. Discusses project timeline, narrative structure, story goals, etc. with both global Creative and Marketing Managers, as the project is edited and completed.

5. Performs encoding, converting, and editing of videos, as well as the addition of effects/elements to enhance motion graphics.

6. Meets tight deadlines, performs revisions as necessary and works with internal clients.

7. Submits reports based on agreed schedule and timeline to Supervisor/Manager/Project Leader regarding the status of the project, changes in scope or timelines, recommendations.

8. Keeps abreast of advancement in animation as well as newer techniques, technologies, and other contemporary trends in product design to deliver improved work.

9. Complies with company policies and procedures, including but not limited to information security and acceptable use, and undertaking mandatory in-house company training as required.

10. Performs other related video production responsibilities, such as events coverage and assistance in training and developing others in the use of animation software, etc., as required by the business and instructed by the Immediate Manager/head.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Communication and Media Studies, Visual Arts, Fine Arts, Multimedia, Photography, Film and video production or related field of study.

• At least two (2∼4) years of experience in a motion graphic design, preferably in related industry.

• Proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, Illustrator), and digital audio.

• Highly skilled in graphic design, animation, typography, lighting, and color theory.

• Capability to produce engaging designs that adhere to corporate branding and tone.

• Ability to adapt flexibly to cultural and value differences and communicate effectively across diverse backgrounds.

• Proficient in English, both in written and verbal communication.

• Submission of hard copy or online portfolio showcasing high-end digital design is required to be considered for this position. Preferred but not required

• Experience in producing content for YouTube or other online platforms and websites, specifically for industries like GlobalSign.

• Knowledge of Cinema 4D as well as design-related AI tools is an advantage.

• Certifications: Any certifications related to multimedia design.

• Protecting information assets placed in the care of users from misuse, disclosure, theft, and destruction, whether it is by accident or deliberate means.
