Job Description

Luxoft's IT department seeks a Network Engineer with at least two years' experience to maintain network infrastructure across 45+ offices, data centers, and public clouds (AWS, Azure). Responsibilities include ensuring the monitoring system is up-to-date, validating NetBox data, maintaining Confluence documentation, overseeing network stability and performance within the EU, and contributing to global IT initiatives like automation and cloud integration. The role requires hands-on experience with Cisco ASA/FirePower, ASR/ISR, and a strong understanding of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, IPSec, etc.).

Must have:

2+ years experience with distributed networks
Cisco ASA/FirePower experience
Cisco ASR/ISR experience
Knowledge of OSI model and TCP/IP
Experience with monitoring tools and CMDB
Knowledge of BGP, OSPF, IPSec, etc.

Good to have:

Project description

The IT Department is seeking a Network Engineer with at least two years of experience to maintain network in our offices, data centres and public clouds. Our team is responsible for network services across all Luxoft locations (45+) and Public Clouds (AWS, Azure).

Responsibilities

Ensure monitoring system is up-to-date and propose improvements.

Regularly validate data in NetBox and work on data quality improvement.

Keep all documentation in Confluence accurate and up-to-date.

Oversee and maintain the stability and performance of the network infrastructure within the EU.

Contribute to global IT initiatives, including automation, public cloud integration, and system upgrades.

Skills

Must have

At least 2 years of hands-on experience working with distributed networks, preferably within an ISP or system integrator environment.

Working experience with Cisco ASA/Cisco FirePower (clustering, IPSec configuration, context, ACL, NAT).

Working experience with Cisco ASR/ISR.

General knowledge about Internet and ISPs interconnection.

Knowledge of OSI model and TCP/IP.

Working experience with monitoring tools and CMDB.

Knowledge about following protocols and technologies:

HSRP;

BGP (best path selection algorithm, difference between iBGP and eBGP, redistribution, Rote-Reflector);

EtherChannel (modes, load balancing types);

OSPF;

IPSec (route based);

GRE;

PBR;

NAT;

SSL VPN.
