Job Description

The Scheduler will be responsible for programming commercial operations within Disney's linear sports television channels. Responsibilities include reviewing television formats to avoid gaps or overlaps, validating advertising spot timings, verifying commercial times in recorded and live content, inputting advertising within assigned breaks, and making necessary adjustments to programs and promotional patterns. The role also involves reporting inconsistencies in material allocation and their impact on programming. The ideal candidate will possess at least six months of experience in the television or media industry and be detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
Must have:
  • 6 months experience in TV/media
  • Schedule commercial operations
  • Review TV formats for gaps/overlaps
  • Validate ad spot timings
  • Input advertising within assigned breaks
  • Report inconsistencies
Good to have:
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Communication/related studies
  • Knowledge of sports
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Intermediate English

El Scheduler, será parte del equipo que tiene como objetivo la programación de las operaciones comerciales dentro de nuestros canales deportivos de televisión lineal, cumpliendo con todas las revisiones, gestiones y ajustes necesarios en cuanto a contenido, formatos, estrategia promocional y colocación de publicidad (local, panregional y de clientes) según corresponda.

Responsabilidades del Scheduler:

  • Revisar los formatos televisivos para asegurar que no haya huecos ni superposiciones en la programación.
  • Validar que los spots publicitarios estén dentro de los horarios permitidos.
  • Verificar los tiempos comerciales en contenido grabado y en vivo.
  • Ingresar la publicidad en los cortes asignados, evitando exceder el tiempo comercial permitido.
  • Realizar o solicitar los ajustes necesarios en programas, formatos y patrones promocionales para que los contenidos se transmitan en los horarios adecuados.
  • Reportar inconsistencias en la asignación de materiales y su impacto en la programación

¿Qué necesitas para ser parte de la historia?

  • Mínimo 6 meses de experiencia en la industria de televisión o medios de comunicación.
  • Deseable experiencia en un rol similar.
  • Estudios realizados en el sector de Comunicación o áreas relacionadas.
  • Conocimiento y gusto por los deportes (deseable).
  • Manejo de paquetería Office.
  • Nivel de inglés intermedio (deseable).
  • Trabajo en equipo.
  • Gestión de prioridades y tiempos.
  • Atención al detalle.
