Job Description

Raxium seeks a Semiconductor Supply Chain Management Lead to manage the supply chain for their revolutionary microLED display technology. This role involves cultivating strategic supplier partnerships, ensuring supply chain agility and risk mitigation, optimizing inventory, and leading commercial negotiations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in semiconductor supply chain management, including sourcing, procurement, and supplier quality management, and experience leading teams. Responsibilities include fostering collaboration, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring the seamless flow of materials to the fabrication facility.

Must have:

6+ years semiconductor supply chain mgmt experience
Sourcing, procurement, contract negotiation
Supplier quality & risk management
Team leadership (3+ years)
Bachelor's degree in relevant field

Good to have:

Master's/PhD in relevant field
Semiconductor fab experience
MicroLED fabrication materials sourcing
Compound semiconductor supply chain experience
MicroLED display technology familiarity

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a specialized field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP, etc.), or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience in semiconductor supply chain management, including sourcing, procurement, contract negotiation, supplier quality management, and risk management.
3 years of experience building and leading teams.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP).
Experience working in a semiconductor fabrication (fab) environment.
Experience sourcing specialized materials used in microLED fabrication.
Experience in direct and indirect sourcing for wafer production.
Experience with compound semiconductor supply chains.
Familiarity with microLED display technology.

Raxium is on the microLED technology, bringing the world's first monolithically-integrated, micron-scale and RGB emitter solution to enable a new category of differentiated display products, ranging from ultra-resourceful Augmented Reality (AR) micro-displays to direct-view light-field displays with natural 3D functionality.

As a Supply Chain Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to transform the display industry. You will collaborate closely with our Engineering and Development teams, guiding the development and implementation of innovative supply chain strategies to secure critical supply from geopolitical, quality and continuity perspectives. Your leadership will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless flow of critical materials and components to the fab, enabling us to meet the growing demand for our revolutionary displays.

Google's Raxium display group has established a revolutionary semiconductor materials display technology that enables new functionality in display products, bringing to users a closer and more natural linkage between the digital and physical realms in applications such as augmented reality (AR) and light-field display. With start-up roots and a state-of-the-art compound semiconductor fab in Silicon Valley, Raxium is seeking to build upon its engineering team with an aim to disrupt next-generation display markets.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

Cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with suppliers of critical materials and components, ensuring a robust and agile supply chain.
Serve as the central point of contact between suppliers and internal teams, fostering seamless collaboration and communication to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks to ensure business continuity.
Optimize inventory management strategies to ensure the availability of critical materials while minimizing costs and waste.
Lead commercial agreement negotiations, securing favorable terms and conditions for the procurement of materials, spares, and capital equipment.
