Job Description

Le Pub is a culture and creative technology company that combines creative excellence with data, media, and tech expertise to help brands create culturally relevant experiences. This Senior Account Director role involves managing day-to-day internal and external finances, ensuring timely client briefings, partnering on brief development, reviewing creative work, and fostering client relationships. The role requires strong communication, tenacity, an entrepreneurial spirit, creative thinking, the ability to manage details and the bigger picture, and a team-building mindset. The primary account will be Heineken UK, with opportunities for other accounts and pitch support.
Must Have:
  • Manages day-to-day internal & external finance on the account & tracking
  • Inputs into revenue forecasting
  • Owns scope & manages resource requirements
  • Ensures timely & comprehensive briefing from clients
  • Partners with Strategy Director on brief development
  • Strong understanding of category
  • Reviews & inputs into creative work & ensures it is on brief
  • Creates favourable client conditions & relationships for top creative work
  • Holds relationships of influence internally to bring together disciplines
  • Trusted partner to clients (Marketing Director level and below)
  • Line manages junior team members as the team grows & develops
  • Leads projects end-to-end, partnering with Project Management & Production team

Overview

Commercial - Manages day-to-day internal & external finance (partnering with finance team) on the account & tracking; inputs into revenue forecasting (owned by PN); owns scope & manages resource requirements; looks for opportunities to grow account.

Creative - Ensures timely & comprehensive briefing from clients; partners with Strategy Director on brief development; strong understanding of category; reviews & inputs into creative work & ensures it is on brief; creates favourable client conditions & relationships for top creative work to be successfully bought and made.

People - holds relationships of influence internally to bring together disciplines for creation of the best creative possible; is trusted partner to clients (Marketing Director level and below) across full spectrum of needs from development of marketing strategy to delivery. Line manages junior team members as the team grows & develops.

Process - leads projects end-to-end, partnering with Project Management & Production tea

Responsibilities

Account

○ Primarily Heineken UK to begin, with other account opportunities to be confirmed, alongside support on pitches where appropriate.

Qualifications

Key skills

Adept communicator - strong interpersonal skills; can build relationships of influence. Can be left to operate without PN, and hold own in meetings with client.

Tenacious - able to operate in a fast-moving start-up environment; willing to roll sleeves up to make things happen.

Entrepreneurial - displays instinctive spirit to develop opportunities and drive growth on account; thinking outside the box to get to the best creative work.

Creatively-minded - passionate about the work and going the extra mile to help create the best creative possible.

Can operate on different levels - able to zoom out and see the bigger picture on the account, whilst caring enough about the details to get these perfect and build foundations of trust.

Team-builder - someone who cares about building an agency culture, and being part of growing a business.
