Job Description

The Senior Manager role within the Capital Markets Advisory team involves conducting diagnostic studies for potential IPO aspirants. The candidate will also manage the project timeline on behalf of the client, manage investor relations post-IPO, and help the company maximize its market cap. Responsibilities include in-depth analysis of financial statements, identifying gaps, checking information systems, ERP adequacy, compliance, and risk profiles. Additional responsibilities include working on an ESG strategy, seeking opportunities for operational improvement, and acting as a conduit between the client team and IPO consultants.

Job Description & Summary:  

The role will be to work in the Capital Markets Advisory team of PWC and get involved in doing the diagnostic study of potential IPO aspirantsIn some cases, the companies may also go in for private funding, but the preparation is the sameThe candidate will also be part of the project management team to work on behalf of the client in managing the IPO timetableBesides managing the investor relations post IPO and helping the company maximizing its market cap will be an important milestone of the roleTeam management experience even if it is a small team would be an added advantage. 

 

Responsibilities: 

 

 

To deep dive on each of the financial statements & processes of the a company and identify gaps from policies, SOP’s etc. closing time table, adequacy of controls, ERP etc. 

ü To check on the information system preparedness across the company  

ü To check on the ERP being used across functions in the Organization and check its adequacy. 

ü To work on the compliance checklist of the client and check for adequacy of compliance.  

ü To go through the risk profile of the Company from a ERM perspective. 

ü To work with the ESG team on a ESG strategy. 

ü To look for opportunities in operations improvement, revenue acceleration, and cost optimization. 

PROJECT MANAGEMENT: 

ü To work as a conduit between client team and IPO consultants and ensure we stick to the time table. 

ü To vet the data given by the client before the same is passed on to the consultants. 

ü To be the point of solution for all consultant needs from the client in a IPO War room. 

INVESTOR RELATIONS: 

ü To work with client on their quarterly presentations to Board/investors. 

ü To help set up the quarterly analyst call and post analyst call transcripts 

ü To work with the client to improve sell side coverage. 

ü To line up buy side investors for the client and engage in continuous discussion with existing investors. 

ü To work on perception study about the client with market participants. 

ü To work on peer benchmarking analysis and reports.
