We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our mechanical engineering department as a key player in the development of solutions for our next generation Network Switches! This key position includes product ownership focusing on liquid cooled products and includes close interaction with HW, Thermal, Layout, PMC (Product management & configuration), NPI, Quality and Supply chain groups.

What you’ll be doing:
Designing the mechanical aspects of cooling solutions for the next generation of NVIDIA switches, as part of a multi disciplined design process including power, thermal, and environmental requirements.
Proposing multiple early design concepts while working in fast-paced product development cycles.
Independently working on product design from concept, design for manufacturing, detailed design and initial bring up. Additionally, providing support through Qualification, NPI, Mass production and field installation stages.
Supporting task forces to investigate and support production excursions, failure analysis and reliability issues.
Collaborating in research of ground-breaking technologies, materials, and processes with other groups to bring in creative ideas that tackle ever growing needs both in power and density.
What we need to see:
B.Sc. Mechanical Engineering degree or higher.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Hebrew.
5+ years of experience in electro-mechanical product design, including PCB/PCBA design.
Established experience with 3D CAD. Creo is an advantage.
Self-motivated with a sharp learning curve and able to work independently and as a teammate.
Knowledge of manufacturing raw materials, Hardware fasteners, finishing and coatings.
Ability to switch between tasks rapidly while being very well organized.
Hands on experience – ability to assemble what you designed & train others to do so.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Display significant body of design work done in Creo and Windchill.
Experience in working with supply chains, sub contract manufacturers and leading resources such as consultants, component suppliers, contractors, and manufacturing partners
Validated experience with mechanical stress simulation tools
Experience in IDF file exchange with Layout engineers
Experience in development and implementation/training of new design and flow methodologies
