Job Description

Google Ads seeks a Senior UX Designer to collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders. Responsibilities include crafting user experiences from concept to execution, communicating UX through various design artifacts (wireframes, prototypes, etc.), integrating user feedback and business requirements, and advocating for design-centric improvements. The role requires a deep understanding of user-centered design methodologies and a collaborative approach to product development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a complex, cross-functional organization, leading design projects, and working with executive leaders. The candidate should be proficient in developing and implementing intuitive and user-friendly designs within Google's advertising products, impacting billions of users.

Must have:

6+ years UX/product design experience
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
Collaboration with cross-functional teams
User-centered design expertise
Proficiency in design tools
Communicating design effectively

Good to have:

Master's degree in related field
8+ years experience
Experience leading design projects
Experience working with executive leaders
Experience in a complex organization

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience in product design or UX design.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in product design or UX.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, and provide creative, thoughtful solutions.
Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, or high fidelity prototypes.
Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.
Advocate for the prioritization of design centered changes, refinements, and improvements.
