Job Description

Google One seeks a Senior UX Designer to collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders. Responsibilities include crafting creative solutions, communicating the user experience through various design artifacts (wireframes, prototypes, etc.), integrating user feedback, and advocating for design-centric improvements. The ideal candidate possesses 6+ years of interaction design experience in product or UX design, strong communication skills, and a user-centered approach. The role involves working on Google One, a membership service focused on premium experiences to enhance Google product usage. The candidate will leverage Google's design language to build innovative, user-friendly products.

Must have:

6+ years interaction design experience
Strong communication & collaboration skills
User-centered design approach
Experience with wireframes, prototypes
Integrate user feedback into designs

Good to have:

Master's degree in relevant field
Experience in a complex organization
Experience leading design projects
Experience working with executive leaders

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in product design or UX.
3 years of experience working in a complex, cross-functional organization.
2 years of experience leading design projects.
1 year of experience working with executive leaders.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, and provide creative, thoughtful solutions.
Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process with wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, mockups, or high fidelity prototypes.
Integrate user feedback and business requirements into ongoing product experience updates.
Advocate for the prioritization of design centered changes, refinements, and improvements.
