Roles and Responsibilities
This position plans, organizes, and manages the Life-Cycle Contract Support of the aviation full motion flight simulators, computer systems, all associated equipment, and personnel for the program at site and reports directly to the on-site Program Manager Site Manager Supervises the Logistics section by monitoring parts purchasing, repairs flow, and stock inventory status. This position requires the Site Manager to work full-time at Warrior Hall in Daleville, AL. Applicant shall be able to be recalled to the work location within one hour of request during working hours.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities. The position requires management of personnel in many forms to include direct CAE employees, contractors, and CBA employees. Manages the site operations and all personnel assigned.
Responsible for managing the Life-Cycle Contractor Support (LCCS) in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Manages the day- to- day operations through constant interaction with the Program Manager (PM), shift leads, technicians, logistics, engineers, manufacturers, Prime customer representatives and training support personnel.
Manages around the clock maintenance to support operational readiness and flight training support in accordance with the contract.
Provides LCCS support for Prime contractor and Government testing events as well as software and hardware engineering development.
Coordinates overtime and weekend LCCS support as requested by the Program Manager and/or Prime Contractor.
Ensures site personnel maintain compliance with the DoD mandated certification requirements in accordance with the contract and the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
Develops and maintains a Site Emergency Contact Plan which includes all program personnel, key customers, the Prime Contractor, Ft Rucker US Army customers, and local government program oversight representatives.
Reviews Logistics Weekly reports and submits the reports to Finance and Property Auditors.
Reviews and approves the monthly site Credit Card purchases for accuracy and compliance.
Coordinates with the Program Manager to ensure the site performance is within budget for the program.
Audits, reviews, and approves LCCS personnel time keeping and labor charges.
Ensures on-time submittal of all required CAE USA and Government reports along with other reports as required by the Program Manager. Provides timely scheduled reports in support of performance, budgeting, equipment maintenance, logistics, and LCCS overtime support.
Generates the LCCS section for the Monthly Production Report.
Manages the site’s Quality Assurance Surveillance Program (QASP) to ensure compliance. Collaborates and proactively interacts with Prime Contractor’s Quality Assurance Manager to resolve any quality related issues. Generates the critical issues report in coordination with the Program Manager for the QASP.
Responsible for ensuring the site complies with the Union Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and participates in any grievance or arbitration activities as well as any CBA renegotiations.
Coordinates with Union Shop Stewards LCCS support for any weekend and/or overtime support.
Monitors, supports, and reports Post-Production Software Support (PPSS) activities.
Initiates and conducts approved personnel hiring interviews of LCCS applicants in close coordination with the Program Manager, Human Resources, and Shift Leads.
Provides LCCS technical expertise to other CAE USA departments in support of other LCCS programs as requested by the Program Manager.
Participates in technical and management meetings with internal and external customers as well as vendors.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Minimum of 7 years of maintenance and personnel management experience in the military or civilian aviation field
Previous experience as a Simulator Tech strongly desired.
Applicable bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or formal military schooling in maintenance management
Experience with US Army customers strongly desired
Knowledge of Army Aviation maintenance practices and understanding of basic UH60M, CH47F, and UH60L aircraft systems is strongly desired
Experience and/or a strong knowledge of the flight simulator and training services market desired
Must complete a Security+ certification within six months of assuming the position of LCCS Site Manager and maintain the same in good standing
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and MS Teams). Must be able to generate and maintain reports on performance history, personnel strength, and other ancillary data as required
Ability to work from home and/or remote as necessary

Ability to effectively present information to customer representatives, CAE USA senior management, and public groups
Security Responsibilities
Must comply with all company security and data protection/usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access to, other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
Incumbent must be eligible and able to maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
Respond when contacted by the facilities security personnel during weekends and holidays and initiate notification of key Program leadership on security breaches, fires, and natural disasters affecting the CAE work area at any time
Responsible for reporting accidents resulting in damage to simulators, associated equipment, injuries, or death of personnel at the worksite to the CAE safety officer, Prime Contractor, and Government if required
Work Environment

Work will be performed in an office environment and mostly on-site
Work will require activities to be performed in a simulator high-bay environment periodically.
Ability to handle essential duties and responsibilities while on travel/working remote
May be required to travel to other sites in the United States or abroad in support of Program related matters. Having a valid US Passport is a plus
Ancillary duties may include reports and meetings attendance at the discretion of the Program Manager or as directed by higher CAE Management at Arlington or Tampa
