What Are We Looking For?

Contentstack is looking for a Software Engineer II. If you’re looking for an opportunity to join an innovative, fun, and fast-paced team where your contributions will have a meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you! Here’s what you’ll be doing.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js
• Contribute to frontend development using React.js or any modern frontend framework
• Write clean, maintainable code with a strong focus on Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and maintain technical documentation
• Support CI/CD pipelines and follow Git workflows for smooth delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality product features
• Explore and integrate emerging technologies including AI/ML where relevant
• Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of applications
  

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience in Node.js and JavaScript
• Familiarity with React.js, Vue, Angular, or similar frameworks
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and API design
• Good understanding and practical application of TDD
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows
• Familiarity with Agile development processes

Nice-to-Have:

• Exposure to AI technologies or a strong interest in learning them
• Experience with MongoDB, Redis, or Elasticsearch
• Cloud experience, preferably with AWS

Experience - 3 to 5 Years 
Location - Bangalore
