POSITION SUMMARY

The Sr. Manager, Operations will oversee the day-to-day activities of the company's operations, focusing on enhancing operational systems and performance. This role involves efficiently managing inventory, logistics, 3PL partner relations, and coordinating operations with other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and efficiency. To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate is a team player, a problem solver, data-oriented, and always looking for ways to improve our processes in the best interest of our business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct and manage the operational activities of our products, including but not limited to:

  • Manage the activities of the operations department related to production, purchasing, logistics, warehousing, and distribution of our products
  • Manage inventory by analyzing trends, discrepancies, and opportunities to minimize costs and maximize efficiency
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for inventory operations and develop reporting and auditing processes
  • Provides guidance to improve operations processes and onboard new technologies or partners
  • Ensures all product deliverables are met based on the operations policies and procedures set
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with relevant departments to meet a common understanding of deliverables and delivery schedules
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and manufacturing resources
  • Collaborate with the finance team to implement and monitor financial controls
  • Use data analysis to optimize and improve operational strategies and processes
  • Mentor team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement and customer service excellence

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management, which includes purchasing and supply chain management, preferably in the video game or entertainment industry
  • Experience working with Oracle, Salesforce, and Power BI
  • Proven track record of managing complex operations and leading teams to achieve business objectives
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • Or relevant professional experience

Bonus Points

  • Experience with digital and physical product distribution in the video game industry
  • Knowledge of international e-commerce solutions and global market trends
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies
  • Passion for video games and a deep understanding of the gaming industry's trends and challenges

Salary Range: $101,900 – $140,000

Actual base salary will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, but not limited to, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees and it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
