Penrose Studios is looking for a Surfacer to help create the look of their virtual reality stories. The Surfacer will be responsible for developing and implementing the appearance of textures, colors, and material properties of objects. They will develop shaders using various techniques, including 2D/3D texture painting and procedural signals. The Surfacer will work closely with production designers and directors to iterate on the desired look and maintain asset stability. The role requires experience with 3D animation software and applying UVs in modeling software such as Maya.
