This role offers the perfect opportunity to combine software engineering principles with content creation to help automate, improve, and elevate Zscaler’s training offerings. We’re looking for a Training Content and Lab Developer Intern to join our Zscaler Academy team. Reporting to the Manager, Platform Training Operations, you'll be responsible for:
- Working on lab quality checks, configuration updates, and improvements to ensure engaging, accurate, and hands-on learning experiences.
- Building scripts, tools, and software solutions for automating lab scoring, integration, and system processes.
- Partnering with Lab Architects, Courseware Developers, and other team members to deliver high-quality training solutions.
- Contributing to projects involving cloud platforms, data analysis, and automation to streamline Zscaler Academy’s training delivery.
- Applying modern software development principles in real-world projects while solving complex problems independently and collaboratively.
What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- Rising Sophomore or Junior actively pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field in progress.
- Strong programming fundamentals with experience using modern development tools.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and ability to self-solve using documentation and best practices.
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for solving complex technical challenges.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or web development with JavaScript/HTML.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS (S3, Lambda, EC2), Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, web services, and tools like Git for version control.
- Understanding of virtualization tools such as Docker or VMware.

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
