As part of Qualys Product Design team, Sr. Product Designers (UXUI) should have understanding of enterprise level end users mental model, technology and business goals. He/She should have strong problem-solving skills through logical reasoning and analysis of user workflows. An out-of-box thinker who can steadily push the envelope. He/She should be able to design interfaces and workflows to enhance user experience. They should have a sound understanding of design principles, typography, iconography and other UI aspects. Strong foundation in user data gathering & interaction design pattern libraries.

Showcase execution of UCD activities.
Wireframes & Wireflows with micro & macro interactions.
Your Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in IT or design studio.
Note: Internship will not be considered as work experience
Your Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering/Interaction Design/User Experience Design/ Human Factors/Industrial Design/ Business Design from a reputed institute
- Portfolio demonstrating Cyber Security Enterprise product design is an added advantage
As a Sr. Product Designer with Qualys Inc., you are responsible for
- Helping product managers define strategy & vision from a user perspective. You don't just care about how it looks, or what we should design, but why are we designing this?
- Participating in product strategy and planning meetings.
- Facilitating product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping new design solutions.
- Be able to break the requirements into user flows, mind maps, object model diagrams, journey maps.
- Design macro & micro wireflows & wireframe, mockups and functional specs documentation, to transition designs to engineering for development along with other design artifacts, including clickable prototypes.
- Use the Qualys Design System of established standards, style guides, and specification documents. Contribute & enhance the design system.
- Be able to apply the principles of dashboard design & data visualizations.
- Present new product features, capabilities and design decisions to the stakeholders that are backed up by strong experience design principles and rationale.
- Support qualitative & quantitative research planning, design, recruitment, execution, analysis, and sharing of insights and recommendations.
- Be highly organized and showcase excellent time management skills and be highly detail oriented.
- Ability to manage own timelines in an efficient manner while receiving strategic and tactical direction from project stakeholders.
- Work with extreme attention to detail and a high standard of quality
- Be a customer advocate and consistently drive for quality of our products to achieve the highest quality experience in all decisions.
