Job Description

As the VP of Operations, you will be instrumental in achieving Bright's goals by aligning with the company’s priorities. You will be responsible for the design, approval, installation, procurement, and maintenance of distributed solar photovoltaic systems. Your focus will be on scaling operations to deliver over 300 MW+ of solar energy in the next few years. You will also build and enhance the partner ecosystem while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction. This role gives you the opportunity to lead impactful operations in the renewable energy market. You will be accountable for the budget and your team’s success.
Must have:
  • Lead distributed teams with over 10 years of experience.
  • Expert in the Mexican market, either native or LATAM/US leader.
  • Hands-on experience in construction or real estate.
  • Hands-on leader with a scrappy, problem-solving approach.

💼 About the position:

Join us as a VP of Operations to bring clean solar energy to Mexico You’ll work closely with our Operations Team to play a critical role in achieving Bright’s goals by aligning with the company’s priorities. You’ll take charge of everything related to the design, approval, installation, procurement, and maintenance of distributed solar photovoltaic systems. Your focus will be on scaling operations to deliver over 300 MW+ of solar energy in the next few years, ensuring projects are completed on time, under budget, and performing at 100% of expected production. Additionally, you’ll build and enhance our partner ecosystem of installers and service providers while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction (NPS > 50). With full accountability for the budget and your team’s success, this role is your chance to lead impactful operations in one of the most exciting renewable energy markets.

  • A Data-Driven Strategist: You excel at making well-structured, data-backed decisions and setting up processes and metrics that ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
