WRP is looking for a talented Mid-Level Video Editor with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through visual media. The ideal candidate will have experience in resizing, localizing, and editing pre-existing video content, creating engaging cut-downs, and ensuring high-quality outputs that align with our vision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Video Editing: Edit and enhance pre-existing video content, ensuring a polished and professional final product.
  • Resizing Videos: Adjust video dimensions and formats to fit various platforms and requirements, maintaining quality and visual integrity.
  • Localization: Adapt and localize video content for different audiences, including adding subtitles, translating text, and modifying graphics as needed.
  • Cut Downs: Create concise cut-down versions of longer videos, emphasizing key messages and maintaining viewer engagement.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in all edits, including checking for consistency in branding, audio levels, and overall quality.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the content and marketing teams to understand project goals and deliver videos that meet their specifications.
  • Feedback Integration: Receive and implement feedback from clients/leads to refine edits and enhance the final product.
  • File Management: Organize and maintain video assets and project files to ensure efficient workflows.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-4 years of experience in video editing, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in video editing software.
  • Strong understanding of video formats, resolutions, and compression methods.
  • Experience in localization processes and tools is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with motion graphics and basic animation.
  • Experience in audio editing and sound design.
  • Knowledge of current trends in video content and digital media.
