At Dreamhaven Publishing, we're on a mission to create memorable and meaningful player experiences by building a new game company grounded in our shared values and unwavering passion. We are seeking a talented Visual Designer for contract work to join our marketing team and help create captivating visual content for our games. This contractor role will work closely with the Creative Director and our game development teams.

As a Visual Designer at Dreamhaven Publishing, you'll be at the heart of our marketing efforts, crafting eye-catching visual content that showcases our portfolio of games. You’ll collaborate with passionate teams and contribute to campaigns that resonate with players around the world.

This is a temporary role with an estimated duration through April 2025. 


What we need:

  • Proven experience as a Visual Designer or similar role in the gaming industry or related field, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
  • Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Strong understanding of visual design principles, typography, color theory, and composition
  • Ability to create compelling visual content that resonates with the target audience and aligns with brand guidelines
  • Familiarity with light motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects) is a plus
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to do light illustrations: key art composition, storyboards, etc
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously


What you’ll do:

  • Design engaging and on-brand visual content for various marketing channels, including social media, websites, advertisements, and promotional materials
  • Collaborate with the marketing and development teams to understand the creative vision and marketing objectives of our games
  • Create and iterate on key art, logos, typography, and other visual assets to support marketing campaigns
  • Develop high-quality visuals for game trailers, video ads, and other multimedia content
  • Maintain and enforce brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all marketing materials
  • Create templates or new designs that stay on brand for marketing assets
  • Stay current with industry trends and creative technologies to continuously improve the quality of visual content
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards

The base salary range for this position is $74,970 to $124,949 USD per year, which is associated with our Level 2 salary band. The range listed for this position is just one component of Dreamhaven’s total compensation package for team members and exact compensation may vary based on skills and experience.
