Job Summary
Job Description
This is a full-time, hybrid/remote 3D Animator position at Sperasoft in Belgrade, Serbia. Responsibilities include keyframe animation and motion capture, meeting client quality standards, producing high-quality assets with minimal Lead Artist involvement, regular communication with the Lead Artist, and continuous skill refinement. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Maya, Motion Builder, or 3ds Max, familiar with Unity and Unreal Engine, and possess a strong understanding of animation principles (posing, timing, spacing, exaggeration). Experience with motion capture post-processing, overlay animation, retargeting, and storyboarding is required. The role demands excellent communication, teamwork, and adaptability to different software packages.
Must have:
- Proficient in Maya, MotionBuilder, or Max
- Game Engine knowledge (Unity/Unreal)
- Strong animation principles (posing, timing)
- Motion Capture experience

Description
Responsibilities:
- Working with keyframe animation and Motion capture according client quality requirements
- Ability to provide quality assets to client with minimal participation from the Lead Artist
- Communicates regularly with the Lead Artist regarding the status of current tasks
- Obtains Lead Artists guidance and approval as required to advance tasks
- Is expected to continue to refine artistic abilities and learn new software packages and / or in-house tools
- Contributes to the team-oriented environment
Requirements
- Strong understanding Maya, Motion Builder or Max and preferences usage each of them. At least one of them.
- Familiar with Game Engine Technologies such as Unity and Unreal
- Good understanding of posing, timing, spacing, exaggeration.
- Experience in Motion Capture post processing, overlay animation, retargeting, story, constraints.
- Ability to receive constructive feedback
- Self-motivation, good communication skills, and a great team-player attitude
- Flexibility in usage different software packages.
