Niantic is seeking an experienced and thorough Accounts Payable (AP) Analyst to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AP processes, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The AP Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the AP function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, handling vendor relationships, and supporting the Accounting close process.
Responsibilities
- Conduct operations of the Accounts Payable function, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
- Enter vendor invoices into accounting software and ensure proper coding.
- Handle vendor communication, requests, and documents, responding promptly and professionally.
- Schedule and process vendor payments.
- Maintain records and ensure document accuracy.
- Prepare journal entries and AP balance sheet reconciliation.
- Compile and organize support for audit requests.
- Communicate regularly with the Accounting team and other departments to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members and partners, including regular and reliable attendance and participation in meetings.
- Required in-office 2 days on Monday and Wednesday.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in accounts payable or a related role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and Netsuite.
- Eager to learn, resourceful.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hybrid environment and handle stress appropriately and/or ability to solve practical problems and be sufficiently adaptable to handle dynamic situations with little advance notice.
- Experience working on cross-functional teams with ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communications, including synchronous interactions with others.
The total compensation package for this position includes a new hire offer base salary range of $78,300 - $87,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
Individual pay within this salary range is determined by work location and additional factors, including assessed job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
