Responsibilities:

• Develop project timelines and test out your ideas

• Work collaboratively and cross functionally with other Yahoos 

• Make your voice heard by promoting your ideas within project teams

• Get involved in the intern outings, workshops, and trainings we have available

• Present your work to leadership and network with your fellow interns

• Building a deep understanding of consumers' personas and their needs that can be solved through Yahoo products

• Employ cutting edge AI/ML to solve user problems at scale.

 

Required Experience:

• You are actively enrolled in Bachelor's, Master’s, or PhD program and have a strong record of academic achievement

• You are able to complete an 8-12 week summer internship

• Passion for Product Management and Consumer Products. 

• Solid understanding (sufficient for a PM role) of machine learning and technical depth that lets you effectively collaborate with world-class engineers and researchers.

• Excellent team Player who can work across multiple cross-functional partners.

• Ability to communicate complicated technical and scientific jargon in a seamless way to non-technical audiences. 

• Ability to break down complex problems into small actionable deliverables.

• Sharp analytical and quantitative skills.

The compensation for this position ranges from $24-$52/hr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience. Yahoo provides industry leading benefits for our interns including 401k plan, company holidays, and Summer Fridays. Eligibility requirements apply.

Yahoo has a high degree of flexibility around employee location and hybrid working. In fact, our flexible-hybrid approach to work is one of the things our employees rave about. Most roles don’t require specific regular patterns of in-person office attendance. If you join Yahoo, you may be asked to attend (or travel to attend) on-site work sessions, team-building, or other in-person events. When these occur, you’ll be given notice to make arrangements.
