American Girl's DeForest Distribution Center seeks temporary Warehouse Associates for a seasonal role (late September - mid-December). This entry-level position in an automated warehouse involves learning and mastering fulfillment processes. Responsibilities include handling multiple tasks, making quick decisions, performing repetitive functions, and working both independently and in groups. Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs, standing/walking for extended periods, and repetitive movements. Adherence to safety protocols and wearing PPE is mandatory. The role involves rotating through various positions, including unloading trailers.

Job Description

The American Girl DeForest Distribution Center is looking Temporary Warehouse Associates.  This seasonal role will last approximately from late September - Mid-December.

Responsibilities of this position include:

  • This is an entry level position in an automated warehouse. Warehouse Associates are expected to learn and become proficient in all tasks associated with the fulfillment process over time. Must adhere to all requirements of the job description as measured by results and observation.
  • Individual must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time as well as be able to make quick and accurate decisions.
  • Must have the ability to perform repetitive functions.
  • Must maintain complete flexibility in the work environment and have the ability to work in groups as well as independently, depending on changing business needs and priorities.

Qualifications

  • lift 30 lbs. on a frequent basis and up to 50 lbs. on occasion.
  • stand and/or walk on concrete floors 8-10 hours a day.
  • perform tasks which include continuously pulling, pushing, grasping, bending, and reaching.
  • wear required PPE equipment for the role hired. (Such as: Gloves, Safety Glasses, Steel Toe shoes, etc.).
  • rotate to all positions including unloading trailers/semis
