Job Description

The Order Management Manager leads the EMEA Centralized Order Management team, overseeing all back-office order management activities. This includes the entire order lifecycle, from entry and allocation to final release, ensuring adherence to SLAs. Responsibilities include team leadership and development, stakeholder management across 15 EMEA markets, driving continuous improvement, optimizing order management processes, and fostering a positive work environment. The role requires strong Supply Chain Management experience, particularly in Order Fulfillment within the CPG industry, along with proven people management skills and fluent English communication.

Job Description

The Opportunity:

As the Order Management Manager, you will lead the EMEA Centralized Order Management team, overseeing all back-office order management activities for customers across the region. This encompasses the entire order lifecycle, from initial entry and allocation to final release, ensuring adherence to agreed-upon service level agreements.

You will be responsible for driving continuous improvement within the order management function, fostering strong relationships with business teams in all EMEA markets, and ensure a positive and engaged work environment for the team based in the Kuala Lumpur hub.

What Your Impact Will Be:

Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage, coach, and develop the team, focusing on both direct reports (supervisors) and the broader team.
  • Foster a high-performing team culture within the EMEA region while operating from a different location.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Supply Chain Managers and Customer Fulfilment leads in all 15 EMEA markets.
  • Navigate and resolve conflicts between market priorities.
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across different geographies, considering varying communication styles and language proficiency.

Order Management Excellence

  • Ensure accurate and timely order entry, allocation, and release for all EMEA customers.
  • Analyze performance and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement action plans to optimize order management processes.
  • Support the team during peak workloads or periods of absence.

Process Improvement & Documentation

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the order management function.
  • Contribute to the documentation of order management processes for all customers.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with the counterparts in Malaysia to enhance team engagement and foster a positive work environment within the Kuala Lumpur hub.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, with a strong focus on Order Fulfillment (Supply Chain Execution), preferably within the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in people management, including team leadership, talent development, and stakeholder management.
  • Fluent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience in a shared service environment supporting a region in different time zones is highly advantageous.
