Job Description

The Key Account Representative will be responsible for developing and growing Mattel's business within an assigned sales channel. This role requires strong analytical and argumentation skills, as well as negotiation abilities focused on persuasion and closing deals. A key aspect is a business development vision to identify new opportunities. Responsibilities include leading channel development, generating negotiations to enhance brand presence, developing seasonal strategies, and managing customer portfolios and promotional budgets to meet GS/POS and profit margin targets.

  • Possess strong analytical and argumentation skills.
  • Demonstrate negotiation skills, including persuasion and closing.
  • Have a business development vision to identify new opportunities.
  • Lead channel development and generate negotiations for brand enhancement.
  • Develop off-season and on-season strategies.
  • Identify new business opportunities for Mattel in the country.
  • Responsible for GS/POS and profit margin targets in your CBT.
  • Manage the customer portfolio and annual promotional budget.

The challenge of this position is to develop and grow Mattel's business within the assigned sales channel. The most important skills are analytical and argumentation skills, negotiation (persuasion and closing), and business development vision (identifying new opportunities).

  • Identify new business opportunities for Mattel in the country.
  • Responsible for GS/POS and profit margin targets in your CBT; manage the customer portfolio as well as your customers' annual promotional budget.
