Job Description

As a front-end software engineer at Mimacom, you will be responsible for the entire front-end software development lifecycle (SDLC), delivering high-quality solutions. You'll gather requirements, contribute to architecture decisions, provide estimates, and propose different approaches, while following agile development best practices. You will also serve as a trusted advisor to teams, customers, and stakeholders, and stay up to date with open-source trends and emerging front-end technologies. Your work will be the "face" of our products, which are used by 50 million users every day.
Must have:
  • Solid knowledge of front-end technologies like Angular TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Experience with responsive web design using design systems/style guides.
  • Understanding of modern web application architectures based on HTTP / REST communication or GraphQL.
  • Knowledge of test tools (e.g., Karma, Jasmine, Jest).
  • Strong communication skills and an analytical mindset.
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of or experience with mobile frameworks (Ionic, PhoneGap, React Native).
  • A good sense of graphic design and UX.

What you’ll be doing:

The visual elements of our solutions are the first thing users see - making your work as a front-end software engineer the "face" of our products. Here's what your day-to-day will look like:

  • Take responsibility for the entire front-end software development lifecycle (SDLC), delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Gather requirements, contribute to architecture decisions, provide estimates, and propose different approaches.
  • Follow agile development best practices and coding conventions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to teams, customers, and stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with open-source trends and emerging front-end technologies.

What you’ll need:

Are you a true team player with strong communication skills and an analytical mindset? Great! Now, on the technical side, you'll also need:

  • Solid knowledge of front-end technologies such as Angular TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS (Sass / Less)
  • Experience with the implementation of responsive web designs using design systems / style guides
  • Understanding of modern web application architectures based on HTTP / REST communication or GraphQL
  • Knowledge of test tools (e.g., Karma, Jasmine, Jest, BrowserStack, Protractor etc.)
  • Bonus: Knowledge of or experience with mobile frameworks (Ionic, PhoneGap, React Native, etc.)
  • Bonus: A good sense of graphic design and UX
