Job Description

As a Software Engineer (PHP), you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using PHP and Laravel. You will work closely with other engineers to design, build, and deploy scalable and reliable software. Key responsibilities include integrating multiple data sources, handling user authentication, and ensuring application security. Proficiency in PHP, object-oriented programming, SQL databases, and version control (Git) is essential. Understanding of front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and common PHP exploits is also required. The role offers a chance to significantly impact a leading tech brand’s growth and visibility.

Must have:

Strong PHP knowledge (Laravel preferred)
Understanding of PHP's synchronous behavior
Front-end skills (JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3)
Object-oriented PHP programming
Knowledge of common PHP exploits and solutions
Understanding of scalable application design principles
User authentication & authorization expertise
Integration of multiple data sources and databases
SQL and relational database knowledge
Proficient in Git/GitLab

Good to have:

NodeJS (Build & Deployment)

The essence of the role

As our new ROLE you should have:

Strong knowledge of PHP with 1-2 years of experience in web frameworks Laravel is preferred
Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP
Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3
Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming
Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
Familiarity with the limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
Creating database schemes that represent and support business processes
Familiarity with SQL relational databases and their declarative query languages
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git/Gitlab
