Position Description:
The Athletic Television Producer II (Assistant Director of Television Production) will serve as the daily liaison with ESPN/ACC Network staff to manage the look and implementation of the University of Louisville's Live Digital and Linear Productions for the network. Additionally, the position oversees project management and completion and quality control aspects for live events as it relates to broadcasts. The Assistant Director of Television Production will work with the Executive Director of TV Production and ESPN staff on managing the broadcast standards produced by the school for the network. This position plans and executes creative storytelling for live productions including production meetings with staff and on-air talent for preparation and quality control for broadcasts.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-
Produce and Direct Studio and Live Remote Broadcast for the ACC Network & ACC Network Extra as well as In-House Big Screen Productions.

Serve on a live remote production crew in other capacity beyond Producer/Director including Camera Operator, Audio Operator, Graphics Operator, Replay Operator and Technical Director.

Maintains most up to date software and service deployments of all ACC Network Software requirements.�
- Script and Produce feature stories and packages including LIVE broadcast support video.

Train and mentor student and contract employees in various roles that include prepping elements for game, event, edit or shoot and executing content delivery.

Work in conjunction with production staff and team to provide creative input on more efficient approaches to projects.

Handle pre-production work for assigned broadcast/webcast.

Oversee all Institutional Pass-through Broadcast for ACC Network EXTRA.

Department Lead for Shoflo Event Production Software.

Work closely with ESPN/ACC Network operations on executing remote and studio broadcast.

Qualified Candidates Must: Have comprehensive and authoritative knowledge of Ross & Evertz Production Equipment (i.e. Xpression/Carbonite Blackstorm/Tria/Dreamcatcher).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS-
Five (5) years of experience with professional live remote production.

Two (2) years of experience with SEC and/or ACC Network Workflow.

Understanding of Evertz Routing and Dante Audio as well as RTS Intercom workflows.

Knowledge of Newtek Production Equipment including Tricaster and 3Play.

Understanding of Macros and Key frames with regards to Video Switchers.

Experience editing on Non-Linear Edit Work Stations such as Adobe Premiere.

Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere and After Effects).

Proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis in Excel spreadsheets.

Knowledge of NCAA and ACC rules and regulations.
