Job Description

Tesla's Body Repair Program seeks a Vehicle Detailer in Eagle Farm to join its team. Responsibilities include performing entry-level inspection, repair, and service of Tesla electric vehicles; operating various hand and power tools; maintaining records and ordering supplies; supporting journeymen technicians; and maintaining vehicle cleanliness. The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of automotive collision repair experience, knowledge of detailing methods (wet sanding, polishing, buffing, waxing), and basic automotive repair techniques. The role requires attention to detail, willingness to learn new technologies, strong teamwork skills, and effective record-keeping. This position involves working with cutting-edge tools and eco-friendly processes within a fast-paced innovative environment.

3+ years automotive collision repair experience
Knowledge of detailing techniques

What You’ll Do

3+ years of experience in automotive collision repair
Performs entry-level work in the inspection, repair, and service of Tesla electric vehicles
Operate a variety of hand, power, and shop tools
Perform equipment inspections and adjustments
Maintain records of time and materials
May order shop supplies and parts as required
Perform other related duties as assigned
Help maintain vehicle cleanliness of customer cars
Support journeymen technicians as needed
Knowledge of: Methods, techniques for detailing vehicles - wet sand, polish, buff , wax, etc.
Efficient skills in basic automotive techniques related to repair and servicing of automobiles
