This is a part-time role reporting to the Financial Controller assisting with all corporate reporting functions of the Company. This role will focus on all month-end closing processes including management reporting, quarterly head office reporting, reconciliations and balance sheet integrity, assistance with company budgeting and forecasting, debtor control, BAS preparation and managing statutory obligations.
About the role:
- Overall responsibility for completion of month end closing in a timely manner including reconciliations and journals
- Preparing monthly management reporting including variance analysis
- Cashflow management reporting and forecasting
- Identify opportunities to improve current systems and procedures
- Assist with yearly company audits and preparing productions for audit
- Maintain asset register and manage internal capex cost reporting
- Preparation of quarterly BAS for all companies
- Management of Tax Returns and FBT matters with external tax accountants
- Royalty report collection and investor income distribution for past projects
- Other duties as required
About you:
- Tertiary qualified or part qualified
- Minimum of 2 -3 years of accounting experience is preferred
- Experience with Dynamics 365 essential
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Acute attention to detail
