Summary

The Buyer 2 position in Toluca, Mexico focuses on powertrain sourcing and cost reduction. Responsibilities include supplier management, sourcing activities, supplier development, commodity strategy, CR activities (negotiation, Gemba Activity & Monozukuri), SCC & NON SCC management, and inflation claims management and validations. The role requires negotiating skills, organization, prioritization, and a strong understanding of commercial and legal regulations within the automotive industry. The successful candidate will have experience in budget analysis, quote analysis, quote formation, benchmarking, cost forecasting, and negotiation, with a proven track record of exceeding performance objectives. An annual target of $401M USD is indicated.
