The Sr. Analyst, Americas People Analytics is responsible for developing and maintaining dashboards, leading analytics projects, and enhancing the overall capability and utilization of Americas People Analytics’ suite of tools. This position supports the creation, testing, coordination, and facilitation of key activities across the Americas People Analytic portfolio. The role involves implementing new analytics projects, conducting ongoing analysis to provide root cause analysis, risks, and opportunities insights, and utilizing various data sources for quantitative and qualitative analyses. This includes leveraging best practices to increase analytical capability and managing the delivery of regional solutions, ensuring data accuracy, testing/validation, maintenance, and enhancements to tools and dashboards. The analyst will partner with HR business partners and COEs to identify key issues, trends, and provide recommendations supporting workforce strategies and human capital decisions. Job Description
Lead the implementation of new analytics projects, programs, & studies with the goal of advancing HR analytical capability.
Conduct ongoing analysis across markets and companies to provide root cause analysis, risks, opportunities insights.
Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses using wide variety of data sources to identify key issues, trends and provide recommendations that support workforce strategies and human capital decisions.
Implement methodologies that leveraging best practices from Americas markets, other Nissan locations, and/or external research to increase analytical capability.
Manage the delivery of regional solutions, including data accuracy, testing/validation, maintenance, and enhancements to tool and dashboard functionality
Qualifications:
Experience:
3-5 years of directly related professional experience supporting data, reporting, analytics and visualization tools to provide business focused solutions. HRMS/HCM systems experience preferred.
Academic Education:
Advanced English
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration/Strategy, Accounting/Finance, Mathematics/Statistics or other related field.
Specific Courses and Knowledge:
Good understanding of how own area supports Human Resources.
In-depth knowledge and experience with procedures, processes, concepts, and systems related to data, reporting, analytics and visualization tools
Broad knowledge of competing and complementing technologies, methodologies, and/or frameworks.
Ability to estimate and prioritize work in agile environment.
Skills:
Strong aptitude for technology with ability to quickly learn new software and applications. Self-motivated, quick learner with ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines as required.
Knowledge of HR data, processes, reporting and analytics principles. Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information.
Experience with HRMS/HCM applications (Workday, Peoplesoft, etc.) and visualization tools (Tableau, Prism Analytics).
Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to audience and build credibility among regional stakeholders.
Strong project management and collaboration skills with attention to detail.
