Job Description

As an OPD QA Engineer at Aristocrat Interactive, you'll support the testing process to ensure high-quality software products. Responsibilities include developing and executing test plans and manual test cases, identifying and tracking software defects using tools like Jira, submitting and tracking product issues, providing input to daily project status reports, reproducing issues for developers, providing feedback for test improvement, and clearly documenting bugs. You'll also research and suggest new practices and technologies. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and good communication and teamwork skills. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance, a basic understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies, and familiarity with various testing types (functional, regression, performance, etc.).

Must have:

3-5 years QA experience
SDLC & QA methodologies knowledge
Defect tracking & reporting
Test plan & case development
Excellent communication skills

Good to have:

SQL & scripting knowledge
Automation testing experience (Selenium)
Bug tracking tools (Jira)
Analytical & problem-solving skills

As a Junior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the testing process to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. You will work closely with the development team, senior QA engineers, and other stakeholders to identify, report, and track defects, as well as verify fixes. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality.

What You'll Do

Develop and execute test plans and manual test cases
Identify, document, and track software defects using tracking tools.
Submit and track any product issues found during testing to ensure that they are resolved
Provide input to the daily project status report for each assigned project
Reproduce issues when necessary in order to assist software development in resolving issues
Provide feedback for continuous test improvement
Identify, isolate, and document bugs clearly and concisely in a bug tracker in English
Identify, analyze and describe any production related issues
Research and suggest new practices and technologies

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance or related field
Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
Familiarity with testing types (e.g., functional, regression, performance, etc.).
Experience with bug tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar.
Knowledge of SQL and scripting languages is a plus.
Familiarity with automation testing tools like Selenium is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effective
