Job Description

The Customer Project Manager will be responsible for delivering end-to-end projects on time and within budget. This includes involvement in the Order Acquisition Process and the execution of the Order Realization Process. Responsibilities include partnering with Sales and Key Account Management teams, conducting site assessments, creating budgets and project plans, managing project milestones, and ensuring timely execution. The role also involves managing project risks, conducting project reviews, organizing installations and user training, and managing the transition to business service support. The role is based in Auckland, New Zealand.
Must have:
  • Clinical experience in Radiography and Medical Imaging.
  • Qualifications in engineering, healthcare, or project management.
  • Experience in healthcare equipment installation or construction projects.
  • Experience in contract and risk management.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • High level of software literacy including MS Office and Salesforce.

Based at our Auckland office, you will be responsible for many exciting projects and have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the overall delivery of our ANZ business for our diagnostic imaging and image-guided therapy portfolios.

This is a crucial role within the Philips Healthcare business, where you will have overall responsibility for delivering end-to-end projects on time, on budget, and to the required standards. This will be achieved through your active involvement in the Order Acquisition Process (Sales) and effective execution of the Order Realization Process of small to large installations of mobile and fixed medical imaging systems.

Your role:

  • Partnering closely with Sales and Key Account Management teams during the pre-sales process

  • Conducting site assessments to understand the local situation and customer needs

  • Performing risk assessments, creating budgets and project plans tailored to customer needs and creating accurate quotes

  • Setting project milestones, project planning and interfacing with customers and stakeholders throughout all project phases

  • Ensuring that all required materials, resources and activities are ordered, planned and executed on time.

  • Conducting regular project plan reviews with internal and external stakeholders

  • Managing and communicating project risks and issues, and ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget

  • Conducting pre and post calculation project reviews including project ''Lessons Learnt''

  • Organizing the execution of the installation and required user training

  • Manage the transition from project execution to closure and to business service support

You're the right fit if:

  • Clinical experience within Radiography, Medical Imaging, and a comprehensive understanding of Healthcare digital radiographic information Systems

  • You will have qualifications in either engineering, healthcare, project management or equivalent, and ideally also be a Certified Project Manager; PMP or equivalent.

  • You will bring a sound track record of Project Management experience within in healthcare, equipment installation, infrastructure delivery or construction projects, in a B2B environment

  • Experience in contract and risk management as well as a solid understanding of the supply chain process, and working with large cross functional teams

  • Sound negotiation, conflict and stakeholder management experience, and excellent communication skills

  • High level of software literacy across MS Office suite , Salesforce, MS Project, MS Visio, CAD
