Role overview

We’re looking for a Game Capture Artist who can start immediately and join our award-winning team. In this role, you'll stage, shoot, and review shots across specialized development builds to create the best content for our clients. Our awesome client list and fast growth are fueled by a culture of direct communication and a strong creative focus.

What are we looking for? Our Project Manager has a knack for the following skills:

Leadership:

• Select footage that meets the brief requirements and tell a story through game capture, showcasing the games and their elements in the best possible light.
• Fully understand the latest version of each game and be the conduit for all game updates.

Communication:

• Assist with weekly reports on player insights through social listening.
• Gather high-quality assets and export them from the game when required.
• Maintain clear and open communication with the development team, reporting issues promptly and participating in discussions to resolve them.

Analytics:

• Create high-quality game capture content using game development builds and OBS Studio.
• Have a keen eye for quality, ensuring the highest possible detail levels.
• Understanding of game trends across the gaming landscape.

Business:

• Meet capture deadlines, which can sometimes be very tight, and manage your own time efficiently.
• Edit captured footage in Adobe After Effects using editing techniques to make it look as exciting as possible.
• Understanding of game development builds that are ever-changing and creative problem solving, finding ways around bugs and problems that appear in builds.

Requirements

You'd be a great fit for this role if you have:

• Previous experience in a Game Capture Artist role.
• A passionate gamer, especially one who enjoys mobile games.
• Willing to learn the games inside out and play them frequently.
• Able to adapt to ever-changing game development builds.
• Understanding of game trends across the gaming landscape.
• Creative problem-solving skills to find ways around bugs and issues in builds.
• A keen eye for composition.
• Eager to develop game capture techniques and creative storytelling skills.
• Collaborative and able to work efficiently with multiple departments.
• Competence with OBS Studio (not essential).
• Knowledge of Adobe After Effects CC.
• Proficient with both Mac and PC, with a focus on PC.
• Able to use iOS devices.
