Summary

G5 Games is seeking a Game Translator (EN-BR) to translate, proofread, and edit game-related and marketing texts. Responsibilities include translating character dialogues, user interface elements, narrative, and marketing content from English to Brazilian Portuguese. Maintaining consistent terminology and adhering to the game's glossary and historical setting (Ancient Rome) are crucial. The ideal candidate will be a native Brazilian Portuguese speaker residing in Brazil with at least 3 years of experience in translating or editing literary texts, proficiency in CAT tools (memoQ, Trados Studio), and familiarity with Ancient Rome. A test assignment may be required.

What will you do:

Translation, proofreading, and editing of game-related and marketing texts, including character dialogues, user interface elements, narrative, and marketing content in Russian.
Ensuring consistency of terminology and adherence to the game's glossary and historical setting.

What we expect from you:

Native Brazilian Portuguese speaker residing in Brazil.
At least 3 years of experience in translating or editing literary texts.
Experience with translation software (CAT tools) such as memoQ and Trados Studio (or willingness to undergo training based on our guidelines).
Familiarity with Ancient Rome as a subject matter.
Willingness to complete a test assignment.
