Role Summary:


Job title: Executive Creative Director - Copy

Location: Mumbai

Job Summary:

As the Executive Creative Director - Copy at Dentsu, you will lead the creative vision, strategy, and execution for the copy team across multiple accounts, ensuring that all deliverables meet the highest creative standards. You will drive the ideation, development, and production of impactful and innovative copy across digital, social, and traditional marketing campaigns. Your leadership will inspire the copy team to create work that aligns with clients' business goals while pushing creative boundaries.


Key Responsibilities:

Spearhead the creative copy vision and strategy for Dentsu's clients, ensuring that all copy aligns with overall campaign objectives and brand voice.

Oversee all copywriting efforts across digital channels, including websites, social media, video scripts, digital ads, emails, blogs, and more.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, strategy, and account management, to deliver cohesive, multi-channel marketing campaigns.

Lead brainstorming sessions, providing direction and feedback to ensure concepts are innovative and on-brand.


Team Management:


Mentor, lead, and inspire the copywriting team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Provide feedback and guidance to junior and senior copywriters, elevating their craft while helping them meet client expectations.

Recruit and onboard new talent to build a world-class creative team.


Client Interaction:


Serve as the primary creative contact for key clients, presenting ideas and strategies in a compelling and persuasive manner.

Develop strong relationships with clients, understanding their brand voice, goals, and audiences to deliver tailored and innovative creative solutions.

Collaborate closely with the strategy team to ensure copy aligns with audience insights and brand positioning.


Project Oversight:


Ensure that all copy adheres to project timelines, budgets, and client objectives, delivering work on time and within scope.

Maintain quality control over all copy, ensuring consistency in tone, voice, and messaging.

Stay updated on industry trends, emerging platforms, and best practices to ensure that Dentsu remains at the forefront of creative innovation.


Qualifications:

Experience:


10+ years of experience in copywriting, with a significant portion of that in leadership roles within a digital marketing or advertising agency.

Proven track record of delivering award-winning copy across multiple media platforms, including digital, print, and TV.

Experience leading and managing creative teams, from concept to execution.


Skills:


Exceptional copywriting skills, with the ability to write in diverse styles and for varied industries.

Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and elevate the creative talent around you.

Excellent presentation and communication skills, with a talent for articulating creative ideas to clients and internal stakeholders.

Deep understanding of digital marketing, SEO principles, and how to create content that performs in digital environments.

A sharp eye for detail, with strong editing and proofreading skills.

Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.


Preferred:

Experience working with global brands and delivering multi-market campaigns.

Familiarity with content management systems and collaboration tools.
