Job Description & Summary

Detailed skill description and/or tasks to be fulfilled:

• You are part of the European procurement project team remote or on site with our customers and take responsibility for the content of the projects (e.g. project lead, workstream lead);
• You help shape the project content in detail, analyze data and facts and develop hypotheses and ideas;
• You motivate the customer team through close collaboration, lead workshops, discuss optimization ideas and develop implementation plans;
• You also support the client through transformational approaches and change management.

Professional experience:

• You have full working proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus);
• 2 years of professional experience in a team specializing in purchasing in a management consultancy and/or in the purchasing department of an international, market-leading company, ideally with project experience;
• Good understanding of target operating model design, sustainability, digitalization (e- Procurement, AI etc.) and resilience in purchasing;
• Good understanding in product group management, product group strategy and material cost reduction;
• Knowledge of one or more indirect or direct product groups is also helpful;
• Experience into project management or PMO roles in consulting or industry;
• In addition to analytical and structured way of thinking and working, a good feel for situations and people should be in place.
