What you’ll achieve
- Platform Design and Implementation: Build scalable, robust infrastructure and ensure seamless integration with game and platform teams.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate and version infrastructure using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Implement monitoring and optimize system performance to ensure availability and efficiency.
- Collaboration and Communication: Align infrastructure with application needs and share best practices with cross-functional teams.
- Security and Compliance: Enforce security best practices and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Troubleshooting and Incident Response: Resolve infrastructure issues, participate in on-call rotation, and improve system resilience.
What you’ll need to be successful
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a similar role.
- Proficiency with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Shell, PowerShell).
- Hands-on experience with containerization, orchestration, and cloud technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, AWS ECS, AWS).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools and principles (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud environments, with knowledge of microservices architecture and serverless computing.
- Experience with backend API development and monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Kubernetes) are strongly preferred.
