Make an impact by solving problems in the international corporate tax space. Closely linked to transfer pricing our multidisciplinary tax teams work side by side, both in Belgium and across borders, to help clients make the changes they need to be transparent and sustainable.
In order to reinforce our team, we are looking for a Global Tax (Senior) Manager.
Your impact
As a Global Tax (Senior) Manager within the Global Tax team, you will be the first contact person for (multinational) clients, assisting them in their Belgian corporate tax and international tax related matters.
You'll make an impact by :
Advising (multinational) clients on their tax model, strategy and policy from a Belgian corporate income tax and international tax perspective; including assisting clients in seeking upfront agreement with tax authorities through rulings;
Supporting clients with tax disputes and seeking resolution through appeal and/or mutual agreement procedures;
Leading projects in a structured, critical and creative way in order to support our clients in their tax needs;
Continuously enlarging your knowledge around Belgian corporate income tax and international taxation and will share your knowledge with the team. In collaboration with other tax colleagues, you will offer more complete solutions to our clients;
Building your professional network and manage current clients relationships in to collaborate on business opportunities;
Leading a client service team, you are able to assure service delivery according to high quality standards.
Being involved in actively coaching the Global Tax team playing an important role in the further development of the Global Tax practice.
About you
You have:
From 5 to 7 years of relevant experience;
gained relevant experience in-house, in a Big-4 or law firm or with the Tax Authorities;
A Master in Tax law, Business Engineering, Finance, Economics, or other quantitative discipline. A postgraduate qualification in tax law is a true asset;
A strong interest in business and corporate strategy;
Strong analytical abilities;
Interest to work in an international environment;
A fluent knowledge of either Dutch or French, English is mandatory;
The ability to take complex concepts and analyses and clearly explain them in written form;
Attention to detail, the ability to balance multiple projects at the same time, and a willingness to take ownership over assigned tasks;
The ability to work well in team-based environments and have strong communication skills;
The ability to take a coaching role for the Global Tax team as a whole and for certain younger tax professionals, guiding them in their career at PwC.
