Valeo Thermal Systems
Skawina’s engine cooling plant is the largest and oldest Valeo site in Poland. The plant designs and manufactures the latest generation of innovative heat exchangers, i.e., engine coolers, oil coolers, air turbocharger coolers, air-conditioning and complete engine cooling systems (cooling modules), which in addition to their basic functions allow to reduce fuel consumption and emissions of harmful substances including carbon dioxide.

Currently for our entity Valeo Thermal Systems in Skawina we recruit Mechanical Engineer:

Your challenges:

• Cooperates closely with R&D Project Team Engineers, obtains requirements for design aspects of project;

• Performs DMU analysis regarding Valeo product integration in customer package and also assembly feasibility studies using available CAD systems - Valeo standard is CATIA V5;

• Prepares component  and assembly 3D models in the whole product lifecycle - from concept phase to product serial production maturity. Prepares 2D drawings and other related technical documentation required depending on project phase;

• Ensures conformity of the completed design with current design rules;

• Performs preliminary feasibility analysis and ensures part;

• Proposes dimensional and tolerance concepts, calculates and analyses dimensional and  tolerance concepts stack-ups acc. to ISO and ASME standards;

• Takes part in design reviews with project team and suppliers as well, implements required  changes in design;

• Manages lifecycle of product definition documents like 3D models, 2D drawings, Engineering Bill of Materials and other design justification documents by means of PLM software;

• Manages CAD data exchange with other Valeo R&D sites, customers and external suppliers;

• Is encouraged to propose and lead implementation of own improvements related to product, process and organisational as well.

Join our team if you have:

• Engineering degree in technical area, preferable mechanical engineering;

• Preferable 2 years of experience on a similar position in automotive or production company;

• Good practical knowledge of CATIA V5 (Part, Assembly and Drafting Workbenches), CREO Parametric knowledge would be an asset;

• Good practical knowledge of dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) related topics;

• Fluent English;

• Teamwork spirit, multitasking ability, result orientation with high precision are desired candidate’s skills.
