The 2D Game Artist will be responsible for designing characters that meet gameplay requirements and attract users visually, designing game environments (World Map, Background, Battleground, etc.), designing UI/UX elements such as icons, buttons, layout design, and banners, and optimizing images for smooth performance across different platforms. The role also includes providing banners, materials, screenshots, or splash art to support marketing campaigns, participating in the design process with other departments to guide the product, and analyzing and researching materials to propose suitable art styles. This role also includes creating visual effects and optimizing images for better performance and supporting Vfx if needed. The role requires a strong understanding of design principles and knowledge of anatomy, perspective, shapes, colors, and lighting. The candidate should also be proficient in 2D drawing tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Paint tool sai, Aseprite or Procreate.
